Studio 3 is dedicated to
providing a quality well-rounded performing arts education for
youth of all ages. We strongly believe that each performer is
unique and brings his/her own qualities that contribute to the
strength of the team. As students move higher in our auditioned
programs, individual recommendations and scheduling are made to
develop each student’s strengths and allow them to build
confidence and skills in areas they wish to improve. By taking
interest in each student’s goals and aspirations, we are able to
build a customized program of study to help each individual
reach those goals.
At Studio 3, we hold modesty to
a high standard, so families can be assured that all
performances are free from questionable movement, costumes, and
music. We also believe in a quality end product that makes all
performers and families proud. We strive to produce professional
quality recitals and performances that highlight everything the
students are learning throughout the year, and make them feel
like they are on the Broadway stage

The
Studio 3 Musical Theater & Pop Ensemble, “Showstoppers”
is designed for the student who wishes to focus more on their
performing arts training and gain more performing experience in
the community. It is an
audition only
program, which requires having previous experience in the
performing arts. The Studio 3 Showstoppers train in singing, dancing,
and acting, to be true triple threat performers, and work at a
faster pace than the typical musical theater class.
They perform their high energy shows all over the Valley for
community festivals, grand openings, fundraisers, retirement
communities, and other events. Many of our students have also
had the opportunity to tour worldwide, performing in California,
Hawaii, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Washington DC, New York,
and most recently, China.
Studio 3 Showstoppers specialize in themed musical revue
performances, but also provide entertainment for holiday
caroling, and the national anthem.

The Applause program is our
introductory musical theater program for ages 3-16 where
students come once a week for 1 or 1.5 hours and learn an entire
show, which involves song and dance numbers and speaking parts
to give students the real Broadway musical experience! In
addition to learning material for the show, students are
introduced to basic drama, voice, dance, and microphone
techniques. Applause students perform out in the community at
the end of the semester several times (3-4 on average), giving
them a chance to not only polish the material, but develop their
stage presence and performance skills. They purchase only 1
costume that is inexpensive and simple that they wear for all
numbers. This cuts down on costuming expenses since each child
is typically in 4-6 numbers each show. This costume is also
reusable in future semesters for students who stay with the
program in the future. Although it is not required, many of our
Applause students also take additional classes in dance, drama,
or voice to augment this training.
