Emma England is an accomplished dancer, singer, percussionist, and classical pianist, and has found her dream career through the creation of Studio 3 Performing Arts Academy. Emma graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2005 with a BFA in Dance Education and minor in Spanish. She went on to teach dance full time in the public high schools., before opening Studio 3 Performing Arts in 2009. Emma created Studio 3 as an outlet for youth to develop their talents in a family-centered environment. Her goal is to give students the highest quality triple threat training, which will help them stand out in auditions, and prepare them for a professional career.
Emma has been recognized on a local and national level for her talents, including numerous AriZoni and National Youth Arts Awards. Highlights include AriZoni Awards for direction, music direction, choreography, scenic design, costume design, and lighting design. In 2014, Emma was also honored to received the NYA Body of Work Award for outstanding choreography all season.
Several years ago, she turned down an offer from a Broadway agency because teaching was simply so rewarding, but she continues to perform on and off throughout the Valley. Emma has performed professionally in local regional theatre, most recently with the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Mesa in Schoolhouse Rocks! (Dori/Janet), Chicago (Kitty/Liz/ female swing) and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Wife). She is also currently a lead vocalist for Company B, a touring Andrews Sisters style revue.
Emma is currently the board president of Limelight Performing Arts, where she is thrilled to feed her passion for choreography, arranging music, and costume/hair/makeup design. When she is not in rehearsals, she loves spending time with her husband Aldy and 2 beautiful children.
