Find your inner pop star while singing and dancing at Summer Pop Academy, brush up on your acting skills at Improv Mania or DIY Theatre, and build your resume as a triple threat performer, singing, acting and dancing in one of our outstanding musical theatre camps! Or concentrate on your technique study with an all access pass to our evening summer classes.

Broadway Boot Camp – (ages 6-19) build upon your musical theatre technique, get audition tips, & perform in a showstopping production number!

 Summer Pop Academy – (ages 5-19) Bring out your inner pop star – Perform in a full-length “pop musical” with upbeat songs and cutting edge choreography. Summer Pop Academy will focus on singing, dancing, and acting techniques, combining both traditional musical theater with today’s pop hits. Students will also use professional wireless microphones, to experience true ”star quality.” Pop Academy culminates in an exciting Pop Showcase, based on some of today’s popular hit songs & musicals, performed on the last day of camp.

Lil Rockstarz Pop Academy – Pop Academy for preschoolers! Your 3-5 year old will LOVE performing in this exciting camp!

 The Broadway Experience – (ages 6-19) Designed for the performer who wants to gain more experience playing roles in theatre. – This camp was designed to give the serious musical theatre student the opportunity to learn a show in only a week, while improving their technique and knowledge of musical productions. Students will also have the opportunity to help prepare costumes, sets, and props, and get a behind the scenes look at putting on a Broadway show.

THIS YEAR’S SHOWS INCLUDE:

June 24-28, 2013 – (ages 6-19) A VERY POTTER EXPERIENCE ($195) Come to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where YOU get to be the star of a NEW Potter Musical! Learn show-stopping song and dance numbers, act as your favorite characters, and learn what it takes to put together a musical! This camp also focuses on acting technique, stage combat, and special effects. Students will be cast and grouped into parts of the show by AGE.

July 1-3, 2013 – (ages 5-15) A YANKEE DOODLE MUSICAL ($95) Just in time for July 4th, a new original musical about the life of Yankee Doodle Dandy. Participants will learn a high energy patriotic musical and have the opportunity to perform it LIVE in public at this year’s July 4th festivities!! Students will learn abour dance, voice, and acting technique, and using professional microphones. 

Summer Model Academy - A camp just for girls! This is the perfect camp for girls looking to get into commercial modeling or acting, pagaents, or simply JUST FOR FUN! Learn how to do hair, makeup, posing for pictures, walking the runway, and more! We will focus on self-confidence, finding our own special talents and unique traits, and having confidence to get up in front of crowds. Students will prepare a photo portfolio, resume, and work on interview techniques to prepare them for the world of modeling & commercial print. They will also work on talents like monologues, singing, dancing, and public speaking, to prepare themselves to put their best foot forward.

SUMMER CINEMAGIC CAMP: In Summer Cinemagic Camp, YOU are the star! Make music videos starring YOU of today’s hit songs, and learn all about on screen acting. Performers will also get the opportunity to perform commercials, newscasts, sitcom scenes, and more, as part of this commercial acting workshop. All families will get a copy of the Cinemagic DVD at the end of the week.
