Performances at the Studio 3 Artspace Theater: January 12-21, 2011

Our amazing dinner theatre series is back with the comedic show “The Drowsy Chaperone,” which pays tribute to the Jazz-age shows of the 1920s and the power those shows held to transport us into a dazzling fantasy, lifting our spirits in times of sadness.  It’s a play-within-a-play crammed full of every cliche, gag and gimmick from the golden age of musicals.Classic characters such as a wealthy dowager, a Broadway producer, showgirls, gangsters, a Latin Lothario and even a glamorous aviatrix tell the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

The Drowsy Chaperone is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).  All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.  421 West 54th Street, New York, NY 10019 Phone: 212-541-4684 Fax: 212-397-4684 www.MTIShows.com
